Bring your boldest problem. Your team already has the answers. We facilitate and energise, so you leave with a plan you own.

Bring your team to Wade and spend a day on the problem you keep deferring. We design and facilitate the process around your agenda.
The method comes from a decade of running entrepreneurship and innovation programs: open the problem up properly, cut hard to what matters, and leave with a plan someone owns by the end of the day.
Sessions run at Wade Institute, on the grounds of Ormond College at the University of Melbourne. Choose a single facilitated day, a two-day offsite, or a multi-day retreat with accommodation and dining.
Tell us the problem and the size of the group. We’ll come back with a format, a venue and a price.

These sessions are built for intact teams with a real decision in front of them — not open-enrolment training. Groups we work with include:

Wade Institute sits on the grounds of Ormond College in Parkville. Its Hall, seminar rooms and grounds give a team day a different register to a hotel function room and everything, including meals and beds, is a few minutes’ walk apart.
We work with the College’s events team to match your group to the right spaces, arrange catering, and hold accommodation where you need it.
Four weeks or more is comfortable — it gives us time to scope the session with you and to hold the rooms and catering. Shorter turnarounds are sometimes possible for a facilitated day; ask and we’ll tell you honestly what we can do.
Intact teams with a real decision in front of them, including:
Yes. We can arrange a venue-and-catering option – you get the spaces, the food and the AV, and you run the day. It includes:
If you’d like a Wade facilitator for part of the day only — an opening provocation, or a closing prioritisation session — we can do that too.
Ormond has a range of rooms and halls a short walk from Wade. Teams most often use:
Eight to forty works well. Below eight the room does the work for you; above forty we’d usually split the group into streams and bring a second facilitator.
Yes — that’s the residential format. Accommodation is on site at Ormond, so the evening stays part of the program instead of everyone dispersing at five.
Tell us when you book. Catering handles the full range of dietary requirements, and we’ll match you to spaces that suit your group’s access needs.
No. A rough problem is enough to start with — the scoping call exists to turn it into a question the day can actually answer.
