UpSchool TAFE - Wade Institute

UpSchool TAFE Workshop

UpSchool Workshop is a practical three-day program giving K-12 educators the skills, experience, and connections to facilitate the entrepreneurial development of their students.

Through our experiential learning model, we break down the entire entrepreneurial process. You will engage first-hand with material essential to supporting Australia’s next generation of thinkers and doers.

Unlike traditional professional development programs, UpSchool Workshop is intense and immersive. You will engage with activities and content as a student before jumping back into the shoes of a teacher to gain actionable implementation strategies.

Who’s it for?

  • K-12 teachers looking to incorporate entrepreneurship in their classrooms or schools.
  • Educators currently teaching entrepreneurship or enterprise who would like to further refine their skills in the area.
  • Those supporting teachers, including principals, heads, and other school leaders.

“It’s good to feel uncomfortable, good to feel pushed outside of your comfort zone. It means that you can then rethink and reshape the way you teach, and how you approach those questions with the students. Because you know how you felt when you did it. And I think it’s always good to come at learning from a learner’s point of view.”
