The University of Melbourne and Wade Institute will be pausing the enrolment of new students to the Master of Entrepreneurship program in 2021. Next year, the program will continue to be delivered for current part-time students and applications will open for a newly revised program to begin in 2022.
For the last five years, Wade Institute in partnership with the University of Melbourne, has delivered the life-changing experience which is the Master of Entrepreneurship. It’s an incredible program that all in our community are extremely passionate about – students, Faculty, Alumni, mentors, partners and supporters – our Wade family.
The University of Melbourne and Wade Institute will be pausing the enrolment of new students to the Master of Entrepreneurship program in 2021. As a practical program which relies heavily on face-to-face delivery and building a strong community amongst the cohort, the continuing uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 creates challenges around planning for next year’s program delivery. The temporary, one-year pause in new enrolments coincides with the program’s scheduled five-year review by the University, the goal of which is to ensure we continue to offer the best possible experience and learning outcomes for students in the future. This moment offers an opportunity to pause and reflect. It’s a moment to take stock of all that we have achieved, make new discoveries and evolve our thinking and approach, to ensure that we can continue to play a role in shaping Australia’s future through entrepreneurship.
Together with the University, we anticipate that we will be able to share details of the new program later next year.
Meanwhile, we’re excited to continue to deliver highly immersive and hands-on learning experiences for the remaining Master of Entrepreneurship cohort, and participants across our range of other programs including UpSchool and VC Catalyst. With the best minds and mentors and support of our entrepreneurial community, we develop a new generation of bold entrepreneurial thinkers that go on to do things that matter.
Thank you for your ongoing support, and we look forward to connecting with you at one of our upcoming events.
